Tomas was a small animal vet for twelve years before becoming a full-time illustrator. He was born in Barcelona and has lived in Birmingham (UK) since 2002. He goes by the brandname The Chicken Upstairs. His latest projects are A Tennis Ball and a Teddy Bear ,a story about euthanasia in dogs for adults to read to children, and a blog featuring his comic strip John & Bobby. www.thechickenupstairs.com
