I use science to make art, and art to make science! I am a fish biologist in Salisbury, Maryland that studies fish using a research technique known as clearing and staining, or diaphonization, to turn fish skeletons into vibrant images. This technique makes it easy for me to study their anatomy while creating vibrant images in the process.
