Growing up in east, Tennessee I was not exposed to a lot of various cultures. However, once I moved to Saudi Arabia that immensely changed for me and my art. Before I knew it, I was creating all kinds of things based on the local culture and traditions and that's when the idea for The Majlis came to life. Majlis is a place where people come together in Arabic and is a shop where the art is based off the local Gulf culture in a modern way. I hope you enjoy my work!
