In 1980, Michael Welch was accepted into The Atlantic Center for The Arts. He studied with Elvin Jones, poet Allen Ginsberg and media photographer Robert Frank. Since 1984, Welch has created works to include: music-text and film/video/still image. Welch is the author of : Floridian in Paris / MrMikesMusicMats and Boom Boom the Bass Drum.
