in 1987 I received a BFA in Photography from the Maine College of Art / MECA. While there I also focused on painting, drawing, sculpture, and had the privilege of studying with Veronica Benning, Johnnie Ross, Glenn Renell, and John Ventimiglia-- incredibly talented, inspirational people who embodied the meaning of ARTIST to the greatest extent. It was the first place in the world I truly felt like I belonged.
