My family were the Fosters of Foster and Tara Tailoring, Tara was Tara Browne, Guinness heir and friend to Paul McCartney. Browne with John Crittle opened Dandie Fashions on the King's Road in Chelsea in 1966, the centre of fashion in the late sixties along with stores like Granny Takes a Trip and Hung on You. Dandie fashions was the retail outlet for Foster and Tara suits. Clients included Brian Jones, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Roger Daltrey and The Beatles.
