I am a self taught artist however I have absorbed some knowledge of art growing up as my step father’s mother was Hilda Rix Nicholas who is held in high regard in the art world. I didn’t start painting until I was 50 year's. I am a self taught artist however feel I have absorbed some knowledge of art growing up. I predominately paint in Acrylics. I am very passionate about the environment and animals which is often reflected in my art. I also have used my art to express my political views.
