Restored plates from the golden age of scientific illustration: natural history, botany, anatomy and the night sky, 1600s to early 1900s. Every design starts from a high-resolution museum scan of an original engraving or lithograph. I correct the paper tone, reduce a century of foxing, and rebuild the plate to print edge to edge, so the artwork covers the whole product instead of floating in a white rectangle. The plates are public domain. The restoration is mine.
