Alena was born and raised in the city Dnipro, Ukraine. She graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Theater and Art College, and then Kherson University with a degree in Fine Arts. Alena Vakhmistrova's paintings show the beauty and mystery of black in botanical and animalistic subjects.
