Janet Towbin

Janet Towbin began her art career as a textile designer and works in a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, printmaking, collage and photography. Drawing inspiration from the world of plants and cellular structures to man-made grids and textiles, her abstract work has been described as “transforming randomness and chaos into pattern with an exquisite and simple grace.” Towbin’s award-winning work is found in museum, corporate and private collections throughout the United States.
