John Cave is a self-taught abstract portrait artist. His artistic influences come from music, nature and emotional phases experience in his life. John uses ink as a soft ambiguous background to accent the harder edged line work that he lays on top. Each brushstroke has an emotional connection that is personal to him. John hopes that his work will let the viewer feel and thirst for human connection as much has he does.
