Ray Jarvis

My photography reflects my personality which tends towards the darker side of life and my somewhat introspective take on things. My influences are the great masters whose manipulation of light and shade evoke so much emotion. I've tried in some small way to emulate their styles and incorporate those qualities in my work. A photograph must work hard if it is to compete, whilst they both capture a moment in time the artist can create his vision and imbue it with incredible narrative.
