I was surrounded by nature as I grew up near the Mississippi River outside of St. Louis, Missouri. I came to appreciate the nuances of the changing of the seasons, the subtle greens of spring and the harsh browns and whites of winter, the heat of summer and vivid colors of the oaks in fall. I try to integrate these sensibilities with my photographic and graphic work.
