I grew up moving a lot, which gave me a love for new experiences and adventure. Like everyone, I’ve faced challenges along life’s road. The journey opened me to the whimsy of being vulnerable to hurt and loving fearlessly. I channel this in my work by embracing my mistakes in spelling due to my dyslexia, in my art and life due to naiveté—like the cracks in Kintsugi—finding beauty in the imperfection of being my unfiltered, Wabi-Sabi self.
