    Orphans Africa was co-founded in 2007 by Liza De Guzman, Michele Torrey, and Carl Gann. There are currently 3.1 million orphans in Tanzania due to factors including HIV/ AIDS, malaria, and more. OA's schools are set up to include orphans in the surrounding community; tuition fees of the general student population allow orphans to attend our schools for free. We currently serve 650 students on 4 campuses.
