    Matthew McCurdy is an artist that resides in Phoenix, AZ in the United States. He works with multiple mediums, from watercolors, oils and acrylics, to inks and pastels. Being partial colorblind, some colors may be a bit "off" and/or unrealistic, which is why Matthew gravitates towards surrealism and the abstract. He believes that portraying color from his perception and imagination is more true to the artist and the artwork and instills a sense of honesty.
