Misty Monster, an Idaho native, creates her Morbidly Adorable characters from her nest in curiouser and curiouser Boise. Painting in acrylics, she uses figurative fantasy, big eye kitsch, and pop surrealism to create tarot, give voice to animals, promote vegan ethics, and explore the tenuous connection between beauty and tragedy in sensitive subjects such as grief and loss.
