Born and brought up in South Africa. I have a BSc degree in Botany, Zoology. Informal studies in Fine Art. I have painted all my life and to date have had 25 solo exhibitions in 4 different countries. I have lived in wild and remote places most of my life. My husband, Ken, is a landscape ecologist. I have published two books, Drawn from the Plains, and Not on Your Nelly, and have illustrated Shane Gould's autobiography, Tumble Turns. Ken and I have 3 children and 2 grandsons.
