My work is inextricably linked to my African homeland. I pursue issues of dislocation, diaspora & journeys. Maps and aerial views feature predominately in my recent work. Drawing is my passion. I love to paint too, but struggle with it's complexities - Colour is an important part of my work but every now and then I yearn for the honesty of the plain, drawn line.
