Katarina Achkar

With a lifelong passion for snorkelling and water, Katarina Achkar's work engages with the rhythms and building blocks of life, reflecting on organic structure, on movement and pattern.  Having lived in multiple countries, including those of her parents (Syria & Slovakia), Katarina's art reflects this diversity and has produced distinctive, colourful and unique shapes and textures.  Katarina currently lives in Australia.
