João Alves was born on February 11, 1979 in Lisbon, Portugal. From an early age, he developed a taste for drawing and painting, which is why he followed the arts group in secondary school. In 2003 he graduated in Fine Arts / Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. In 2012 he completed his Master in New Media and Web Practices at Universidade Nova de Lisboa
