Dimitra is expressing herself artistically, through a variety of mediums, such as painting, photography and recently analog and digital collage, & collage installations. Her themes revolve around the human condition. A common pattern seems to be transcendence and freedom, and a plethora of surreal elements and magical worlds. Her art serves as a mean to question many aspects of contemporary life and society. Dimitra's pseudonym comes from Tolkien's elvish: Isiliel is the Daughter of the Moon.
