I live in Cork city in the the south of Ireland and also spend time in the countryside along the Beara Peninsula which is partly in County Kerry and partly in County Cork. For several decades I explored many parts of Ireland and through my photography have worked to capture the partcular qualities of light and mood which most powerfully evoke the characteristics that make our island home such a special place.
