I'm exploring working with AI art--primarily using generated images as pieces of and starting points for my compositions, rather than using entirely generated images. AI-generated art is new and controversial. My take: I believe AI training is a fair use of images. I don't believe it is ethical to seek to replicate the work of an active artist, so I never use the name of a modern artist (from the last century) or of a specific repository (like "Deviant Art" or "Art Station" or even "Pixar").
