My inspiration comes from my childhood. I begin each piece with an idea, a concept, and a collection of found papers, where an image or object gets me started. I add, subtract and layer each artwork, then alter and assemble. By layering together completely different items and inspirations, creating my artwork enables me to use my accumulation of thrift store finds combined with life experiences.
