After working for 20 years as a costume designer, Celia retired from the theater to write science fiction and fantasy novels (as C.S.Friedman), and is best known for her dark fantasy epic, the Coldfire Trilogy. During her years as a costumer she accumulated a vast library of period resources, and looks forward to using illustrations from her collection to create some unique pieces, as well as items for fans of her novels.
