I’m an artist based in Austin, Texas. I didn’t really have a chance. My mother is a Trekker painter/singer. My late father, a classical music composer, was also a science fiction literature aficionado. This resulted in a childhood with teeth cut on Edgar Rice Burroughs novels while Star Trek re-runs ran on the television. My brother ran away from home to become a doctor.
