John Dashwood was an artist of renown, based in the town of Great Yarmouth, England. His styles of art varied hugely and he was able to create powerful, distinctive images using many and varied techniques, whilst maintaining his unique style. John became known especially for his murals, some of which are still visible in Great Yarmouth and bring fascination to those who seem them as they pass. Some of his murals have been carefully dismantled and stored by his family and loved ones.
