    www.alicesamways.co.uk I'm often inspired by ideas surrounding memory, ruin, nature, fairy tales, dreams, and song lyrics, and use these to inspire illustrations. I often depict anonymous subjects, whose portraits I put through a series of destructive processes to provoke ideas about the impermanent nature of humanity. I am interested in what happens when we start to obscure and distort imagery of the face, and how the lines and plains of the face relate to landscape.
