Sisterhood of Avalon

The Goddess Ceridwen, from whose cauldron the Awen arises, birthed a babe whose brow was aflame with wisdom’s illumination. She set him afloat in a coracle - a small rounded vessel woven from branches and covered in leather. Found in a salmon weir, he would grow to become Taliesin - Britain’s greatest bard. As a reflection of this mythic process, the Sisterhood of Avalon has created The Coracle: an ongoing journey of online learning - inspired by Celtic tradition and rooted in Wise Women’s Ways.
