I was introduced to photography when I was a child. I bought my first film SLR in the 1970's and was well and truly hooked. Film experience translated beautifully to the digital world, where in the 'digital darkroom' the power to process an image increased. My objective with each image is to render a scene as I saw it in my mind's eye. Sometimes that even resembles the way it appears to the human eye.
