After years as a specialist teacher of the visually-impaired I made the decision to move up to the beautiful islands of Orkney with my husband and our two bassets, Doris and Nelson. I have always loved making things and now, inspired by the slower pace of life in Orkney, have found myself exploring skills such as calligraphy, painting, linocut printing, photography and bookbinding. This interest and the beautiful people and places in Orkney have come together and resulted in my new passions.
