Hello, I’m Andrew Prekker, the designer of Minnesota’s new state flag! Many people have asked where they can buy merch of the flag, so I’ve finally created a page for it. A small portion of each sale goes directly towards supporting me as an artist. The flag was inspired by our motto: “L’etoile Du Nord”; the abstract shape of Minnesota; and the significance of water to our state as the “land where the waters reflect the sky”. The flag will become the official on May 11, 2024.
