"I was born in Porto Alegre in southern Brazil in 1953, in 1966 the family immigrated to the United States. We took up residence in Akron, Ohio, I earned a BA in Fine Arts from Pratt Institute (NY) in 1976. From 1977 to 1983 I alternated 6 months residence between New York and Rio de Janeiro. I became very successful and sought after during this period. In 1983 fixed my base in Rio, in 1991 I returned to New York, in 1997 I returned to Brazil, currently residing in Niterói, RJ."
