Marla is a contemporary realist painter who lives and works in NC. She is best known for her highly detailed and life-like animal paintings created with pastels, alcohol inks, and acrylics. Her realistic depictions of the transformative of light and bold color in her animals, Americana portraits of classic automobiles, and flowers are life-affirming. Marla has always created art using various mediums, but her love of painting has always been her first love.
