Dr. Amanda Gantt Sawyer is an author of the children book series, Mable MATHis Mysteries and an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at James Madison University in the Middle, Secondary, and Mathematics Education Department. She earned a doctoral degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia, a master's degree in applied mathematics, and a master’s in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina.
