Matjaž Borovničar is a Slovenian visual artist. He graduated in 1999 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Italy, and then went on to study fresco and mural restoration. In addition, he also studied pedagogy and andragogy at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana.
