La-Gabriel creates designs for Majestic Garden, a small urban farm committed to making a social and environmental change in an underserved community. In 2013, a vacant lot was transformed into a green space for growing food in a “food desert” plagued with poverty and crime. Although there were challenges, the garden successfully grew fresh produce and distributed to local soup kitchens. Majestic Garden is currently working to increase youth literacy.
