I work as a freelance illustrator from a studio in Adelaide, South Australia. I create detailed stippling drawings of plants and animals with a focus on the ocean. Stippling can be described as an intricate process of layering thousands of small dots to create tone and texture to depict the subject. I think stippling is the ideal method for me to use to explore and highlight the complexity of the natural world as it forces me to examine and render the subject in greater detail.
