Hi, I'm Öykü, the illustrator behind The Hawthorn Fairy. I'm a children's illustrator in London, drawing whimsical, textured animal characters somewhere between storybook, nursery print and folk art. My work is inspired by parenthood, woodland themes, quirky characters and dreamy scenes. I've spent 12 years creating visual stories, hand-drawn on Procreate, layer by layer, with entirely original characters. Follow along on Instagram @TheHawthornFairy for new characters and works in progress.
