I enjoy using watercolor in a style it is not really intended to be used, a pristine realist approach. My paintings are all hand drawn from photos I take on site. My goal is to include as much detail as possible from the scene as is. Each painting takes approximately 300 hours to complete between the initial drawing and final brush stroke. These are not photographs or photographs that have been altered by Photoshop. They are paintings.
