The mission is to share both my art and love of history, pop culture, and legends. In terms of art, I love pen and ink and my favorite technique is crosshatching, hence the name. On top of that, I frequently use ink wash and watercolor. My biggest influences are Virgil Finlay, Gustave Doré, Stephen Gammell, and Butch Hartman.
