I was raised in rural Louisiana, on pasture lands that vibrate with the histories of passing generations and passing trains. Steeped in the culture of crawfish boils, Mardi Gras parades, and big extended family, I became fond of visual and oral storytelling. I currently live in Boise, Idaho, working as an educator at middle school and university levels.
