Barbara Nye

I grew up on a farm in central Texas USA and immigrated to Australia in 1984. I now live in beautiful Queensland. My work is informed and inspired by the beauty of the natural world, and is characterised by bold line and vivid colour. I do works on canvas and use painted papers and sometimes machine stitchery to embellish surfaces.
