Most of this art I did in my 20s while still living in the USSR. Oil, pastels, watercolor, gouache, ink… Also rusty nails, cigarette ash, and things you'd rather not know about. Getting professional art supplies in the old USSR was a toughy if you weren't in the Artists Union, so at some point I just gave up. On my recent trip to Ukraine I discovered my old pictures in my parents' closet. I made photos and restored them in Photoshop in my new Florida home. More: www.atbashian.com/wp
