Found this huge heron standing on the pier leading to the Fairport Harbor West Breakwater Lighthouse (Fairport Harbor, Ohio, USA, Lake Erie). One of the fishermen told us he's a "regular" - and for sure he isn't very shy. I got within about two feet of him before he decided not to keep standing his ground.
