A job after school financed my first camera at 14. Joined a camera club and learned many tricks and skills from some great photographers. Later used photography in various jobs in printing, advertising and media. But lost interest. Became enthused again some years later with the birth of digital photography. I love ships and maritime subjects and this has resulted in a collection of images from many Australian ports. My other great passion is nature landscapes, wildlife and close-ups.
