Rose Shapiro grew up in Santa Cruz California, where they learned to love art and nature. She has studied ceramics, sculpture, metal and woodworking, drawing, painting, photography, collage, and more, most recently at Mills College. They now live in San Francisco with their family. She plans to continue her art studies at San Francisco state. Rose is proudly neurodivergent and sapphic and uses her art to express her perspective on the world and her appreciation of it.
