Maggie was born in Washington DC, and raised in Maryland. But she fell in love with New Orleans and made it her home. She tended bar in the French Quarter, and owned a successful gallery. Katrina changed all that. She stayed through the storm, lost everything, but not her sense of humor nor her love of art. Maggie paints in acrylic and oil on canvas, panel, and on house tiles blown off the roofs during Katrina. Her art reflects her humor, her love of Mexico and her hometown of New Orleans.
