Breathing colour into a black and white photo gives the viewer a new dimension into that little snippet of time allowing the viewer to relate to the image in a completely different way. Every photo has a story and extensive research goes into the back story of the image to try to ensure the image is as authentic as possible, obviously there is a small element of artistic license involved too.
